A gentleman and a warrior, Teemu Rannikko has been a natural leader ever since he adopted the starting point guard duties of Finland's Piiloset Turku in 1996/97 at the tender age of 16. Even though his 13-year run in professional European leagues is over and the Finnish League is calling him back, he's still the leading scholar and basketball mind of the Finnish team. While he is playing a smaller role in this Finnish national team compared to his top years, he will still be among the best pure playmakers at EuroBasket 2013, while his clutch shooting, world-class passing and ability to draw fouls on both ends of the court brings valuable intangibles to his team.
