Vladimir Dasic - EuroBasket 2013 Profile

Team 2012-13: Metalac Valjevo (Serbia-KLS)
Career: KK Buducnost Podgorica (Montenegro-Super Liga 2004-09); Real Madrid (Spain-ACB, 2009-10), Gran Canaria (Spain-ACB, 2010); Lottomatica Roma (Italy-Lega, 2010-12); Union Olimpija Ljubljana (Slovenia-1A, 2012); Besiktas Istanbul (Turkey-TBL, 2012-13); Metalac Valjevo (Serbia-KLS, 2013)

Vladimir Dasic is one of the names in European basketball that seem to have been around forever. The versatile forward has created buzz ever since his teenage days, starring for the first time at the U16 European Championship in 2004 with a tournament double-double of 17.4 points and 12.6 rebounds. Joining the senior team of Buducnost Podgorica the same year, Dasic further built on his reputation as one of his country's biggest prospects with impressive showings for youth national teams, as well as having three Montenegrin league and cup doubles under his belt by the age of 21. Dasic's career abroad started slowly, struggling for playing time with Spanish powerhouse Real Madrid, and was marked by several club changes in recent years. During last summer's Qualification Round, Dasic however led Montenegro in points and rebounds, proving his confidence, athleticism and scoring abilities are back in place.
