Bosnia and Herzegovina held off a furious fourth quarter rally from Romania to get their EuroBasket qualifying campaign back on track with an 84-79 win on the road.

Romania outscored the visitors 26-9 over the final 11 minutes but fell short at the finish.

After losing a heartbreaker to Georgia earlier in the week, Bosnia and Herzegovina looked to be cruising to victory this time with a jump-shot from Mirza Teletovic putting them 75-53 up 66 seconds from the end of the third quarter.

But jump shots from Octavian Calota and Titus Nicoara before the end of the period were the start of a 19-2 run in which Nicoara scored eight of his 10 points.

It was his free throw that made it 77-72 with 3:42 left in the game before Nihad Dedovic and Zackary Wright edged Bosnia and Herzegovina clear once more.

Teletovic hit a pair of free throws to give the Bosnians an 82-76 edge with 18 seconds left, but Vlad Moldoveanu sliced it to 82-79 with a three-pointer nine ticks from time.

Dalibor Persic's jump-shot put Bosnia and Herzegovina five points clear and when Mihail-Octavian Paul missed a late three, time ran out on Romania.

Teletovic and Elmedin Kikanovic had 21 points each, with Teletovic adding nine rebounds, while Dedovic added 17 points and Ante Masic 12.

Moldoveanu came up with 25 points and 11 rebounds for Romania, while Rares Mandache scored 11 and Ionut Dragusin 10.

Bosnia and Herzegovina improve to 3-1 with the win, while Romania drop to 1-3.
