Tuukka Kotti is a do-it-all power forward who brings energy and defensive intensity to any team he plays for and even at the elite level, he has proven himself to be hugely effective. Last summer during the Qualifying Round, he had more steals than any of his team-mates and both his quick hands and ability to read the game will again be vital if Finland book their place in Lithuania. Kotti can also score and is very effective on the glass, as evidenced last year when in addition to steals, he was also the top player on the team in rebounding with an impressive 7.3 per game which placed him in the top ten during qualifying. Kotti also has a lot of mobility, can run the open floor and while he has spent most of his pro-career playing in the second tier of leagues in Italy and France, this shouldn't fool anybody as to the ability of the 30-year-old to make a sizeable contribution. He could be one of the key players this summer.
