A peculiar career route if there ever was one, Tuukka Kotti began his national team duties in 2000 as a tall, streaky, shooting point guard, but his four years with Providence Friars of the NCAA turned him into a strong, athletic center of the new millennium. Kotti won the Finnish League MVP award in 2010 and has climbed all the way to the Italian Serie A, finishing with a strong 2012/13 campaign with Vanoli Cremona. Meanwhile, Kotti has been the cornerstone of the Finland Wolf Pack's team defence, going head-to-head successfully and earning the respect of some of the premiere big men in Europe such as Nikola Pekovic, Pero Antic and Marcin Gortat. While he's a defensive force to be reckoned with, he can also finish effectively around the basket with back-to-basket moves and tip-ins.
