While center Luksa Andric was only given limited minutes when he stepped out for the first time at a major tournament with Croatia at the FIBA World Championship last year, he grabbed his opportunity with both hands and produced some highly efficient numbers. He was 11 of 15 inside, and while he couldn't get anything to drop from outside, he may have given enough of a glimpse to convince Coach Varankovic he can compete at the highest level. He can also point to a successful rookie year overseas after playing for Galatasaray last season following on from many titles and Adriatic All Star appearances while at Cibona. He is a fierce rebounder, can finish clinically in the paint and when he gets that outside shooting to drop can prove a real handful for opponents.
