After failing to make the EuroBasket 2009 squad, the player simply nicknamed "Yogi" proved to be an efficient back-up in last summer's qualifying campaign. He played only limited minutes in Israel's eight games, but always got some court time. A crafty and athletic pass-first point guard who likes to attack the basket and doesn't miss an open team-mate, he also has quick hands and is always likely to come up with some steals. After shining in the youth events with the National Team, he will get a chance to showcase his developing skills on the big stage. He struggled initially after leaving his hometown club, Galil Elyon, to join Nahariya, but his last two years with Hapoel have seen him become an important member of their roster, and he is still considered to be capable of influencing the team even more in the future.
