A stand out player for his country at youth level, Adam Waczynski could be about to transfer his exciting talent to the senior team by grabbing a place on the roster for EuroBasket 2011. The 21-year-old was a revelation last season in EuroChallenge with Trefl Sopot and put up some great performances to achieve really efficient numbers and get everyone talking about what he could possibly do at the elite level. He is a versatile player who can handle the ball well and make shots. He can play either on the wings or in the backcourt and that could be an appealing dimension for Coach Pipan, not only for this summer but also for the future since Waczynski looks like he could be a key player for many years if he gets the chance to prove himself. |
