Damir Markota is a hugely talented player but one who can still divide opinion because of his up and down career and a temperament which has not always served him well. Having briefly tasted NBA action and with a host of clubs to his name, he seems to have been around forever and yet incredibly is still only 25-years-old. Markota has plenty to give to the Croatian National Team and it is his versatility and the way he potentially compliments the five spot players that could see him playing a big role once again. He has the size, quickness, athleticism and shooting range to be a real ‘X-Factor' player at EuroBasket 2011 but still has work to do if he is to silence some of the doubters.
