|Dmytro Zabirchenko had all the answers in offense for Ukraine|
Ukraine finished strong to run up the score in a 68-47 win over Cyprus in the EuroBasket 2013 Qualification Round.
Ukraine finished on a 26-9 run to ensure there was no chance of a Cypriot rally in a game the visitors had led most of the way.
The possibility of the hosts getting back into it was raised late in the third period, when they reeled off nine straight points to close the gap to 42-38 on a three-pointer from Aristides Koronides with 2:31 left in the period.
But Ukraine responded with 14 unanswered points in a run that went deep into the final stanza as a lay-up from Maxym Korniyenko made it 56-38 and effectively settled the game.
Dmytro Zabirchenko led Ukraine with 15 points while Maksym Pustozvonov added 14.
Anthony King led Cyprus with 13 points and 14 rebounds, while Panagiotis Trisokkas had 12 points.
Ukraine improve to 3-1 at the top of Group C, but Cyprus remain winless after three games.
