Viacheslav Kravtsov is a phenomenal shot blocker who likes nothing more than contesting absolutely anything on its way up and he could be an important defensive presence inside for Ukraine. He played last summer during the Qualifying Round and showed he can also do a great job on the glass while last season his confidence was further boosted after being named an All Star. Kravtsov is athletic, strong and can explode in and around the hoop on offence although he is still trying to find consistency with anything from range. He is a good finisher because of his size on the block and within a couple of metres. He is also a competent defender in the paint and his defensive attributes will be important. He has put up great numbers not only in club basketball at home but also in EuroChallenge and at the World University Games in Belgrade a couple of years ago. |
