George Tsintsadze was just 15-years-old when he appeared in the Georgian Superleague and after a half season he was subsequently invited to champion team Basco. During his debut season, he was named MVP of the Georgian league and that was enough for CSKA Moscow to acquire his services. He then moved around Russia and ended up winning the ULEB Cup at Dynamo Moscow under the guidance of Dusan Ivkovic. He then went on to tear it up in the Estonian league where he was MVP and also was named to the EuroCup All-Star Game in 2008. He is nicknamed "Bu" by his team-mates which means Owl in Georgian since he doesn't need much daylight to be effective in hunting down his prey by way of his great passing ability. He has spent seven years playing for the National Team and is a key member of the rotation.
