Germany crushed Luxembourg 101-53 in an impressive start to their EuroBasket qualifying campaign.
There was absolutely no mercy shown by the hosts in Hagen, as they outscored the visitors 31-4 in the final quarter long after the victory was secured.
Robin Benzing had 17 points while Lucca Staiger, Tim Ohlbrecht and Maik Zirbes added 12 apiece and Tibor Pleiss 10.
Germany took control early on, scoring the final 14 points of the first quarter to lead 25-10 on Benzing's three-pointer.
The lead reached 32-10 on Ohlbrecht's dunk early in the second period, but Luxembourg began to hold their own, keeping the lead in the high teens if not being able to do much about cutting into it.
A three from Tom Schumacher made it 63-49 late in the third period, but Germany scored seven straight to lead 70-49 going into the final stanza.
That was merely a sign of things to come as they scored another seven unanswered to start the fourth and just kept piling it on even as Germany coach Svetislav Pesic turned to his bench.
Chris Jones led Luxembourg with 19 points and Schumacher added 12, but they were fighting a lonely battle.
Germany dominated in every department, outrebounding Luxembourgh 51-27.
