Serbia prevailed in the Belgrade Trophy thanks to wins over Hungary and Turkey.

Finishing first did not leave Serbia coach Dusan Ivkovic fully happy with the performances, though.

Vladimir Stimac has had some impressive performances with the senior Serbia team

He said as much after the triumph over the Turks.

"This was our dress rehearsal before the start of [EuroBasket 2013] Qualifications," he said.

"I can't be fully satisfied with the attitude towards the game.

"We must raise the level of aggressiveness and concentration, as 10 games await us in the next 25 days.

In the warm-up event for the EuroBasket Qualification Round, Ivkovic's Serbians won 95-60 over the Hungarians and followed that up with an 89-79 triumph over Turkey in the battle for first place.

In the win over Turkey, Vladimir Stimac had 19 points for Serbia.

Turkey had won their first game against Slovenia, 80-77.

The Slovenians prevailed in the battle for third place against Hungary, 79-70.

Serbia's Milos Teodosic was the MVP of the tournament.

If Ivkovic was not completely satisfied with his squad, Turkey coach Bogdan Tanjevic said the Serbians have some promising players.

"We felt great in Belgrade, had excellent conditions for work," Tanjevic said.

"Serbia by far made the best impression on the tournament and deserved the triumph.

"In particular, I was delighted with their young players who I have never watched before as part of the Serbian national team."

Thumbs-Up For Krstic

Center Nenad Krstic will not be available for Serbia's first games in the EuroBasket Qualification Round, but is cleared by the doctors to join the team at a later stage

Nenad Krstic feared he wouldn't recover from an ankle injury in time to play for Serbia in the EuroBasket 2013 Qualification Round but doctors expect the captain to compete for his country in some of the games.

No one is happier than coach Dusan Ivkovic, who needs Krstic for his leadership off the court and strong play on it.

"We're thrilled that everything went well with his recovery," Ivkovic said.

"It was very, very positive that he stayed with team, worked out individually.

"Still, he'll surely miss the start of qualifications," the coach added.

"I'll do my best to catch up with our team('s form)," Krstic said.

"Doctors told me that my ankle is fully recovered.

"I feel great, and that is most important.

"In the past few weeks, I've trained individually twice per day, so I think I'll be able to fit into our system very soon.

"As soon as it happens, I'll be able to help our team.

"I can't say the exact date for my return, but - I'm here, ready to help Serbia."

Serbia will face Israel, Montenegro, Estonia, Slovakia and Iceland in the Qualification Round for EuroBasket 2013.
