Veteran Hanno Möttölä led Finland with17 points

Finland remained undefeated in the EuroBasket Qualification Round with a 89-60 Group E triumph over Switzerland on Monday night.

Henrik Dettmann's team raced into a 49-29 lead by half-time in Fribourg and never turned back.

Hanno Möttölä and Peteri Koponen each hit three of their six shots from behind the arc for the Finns, scoring 17 and 15 points, respectively.

Gerald Lee and Ville Kaunisto added 11 points apiece for the winners.

The Swiss had a nightmare on offense, turning the ball over 26 times.

The Finns led for virtually the entire game as they followed up their 97-60 triumph over Belgium with another resounding victory.

Switzerland fell to 1-3 with the defeat.
